i liked your level what you had uploaded some days ago, so i thought i’ll look for more stuff and i found out, that i like your levels :) this map has a really good atmosphere, the tileset is good also. the music also fits well with the map. i see, you like these wind effects. in this one, it is better than new world, frustrating but a good challenge :) the favourite things in this level are the windy outside and safe-cave-inside switches and the boss fight at the top. good work!

i have tsf, so i didn’t have this problem. by the way, i think it’s a fun level i liked it. played on medium and hard also, i can say the difficulty was okey and well-balanced. the eye-candy was good, it wasn’t boring sometimes those windy parts were a bit frustrating but it was ok :D i liked the part to get to the extra live :P there were only small bugs in layer6 that didn’t look the best, also some hatters were stuck in one block, you could use dragons instead of them. the spike animations were a bit fast, and i missed only one thing.. coins :)

all in all it is a good level, worth downloading keep working :)

This is why we should always test in 1.23 first unless you’re making this a TSF level.

Put in technically incorrect “layman’s terms,” 1.24 has a greater supply of internal animation structures, so it doesn’t run out as easily as 1.23.

JJ2 signaled the fallowing internal error.
JJ2 ran out of internal animation structures. There are most probably too much enemies in the current level.

Copying directly from jj1 is sometimes hard because of the different events jj2 has, but it is nowhere near to putting your creativity in your own, self made levels.

It is the original JJ1 episode into JJ2.
Things like these are not really amazing.

It would be muuuch better if it was made with some tileset remakes, if there actually were any.

Do you imagine Turtemple in JJ2?
10×7 mountain with temple on layer 8
8×6 mesas on layer 7
9×5 dunes with tents and palms on layer 6
6×3 shrubs and bones on layer 5

Well, i wont write mega-super-long review for a game where you control small green rabbit.
Your episodes are just copies of JJ1, and it’s pretty fun to play with characters from JJ2. I’m sure it wasn’t easy to “port” all this stuff to JJ2, that’s why im giving you 10 and i wonder why others didnt give you 10 (in previous episodes also)

!AND PLEASE INCLUDE TEH TILESET NEXT TIME!

I’m suprised no one wrote a full review for this yet…

Story: None.
0/0

Eyecandy: Wicked and awesome. No tilebugs, everything works, great text signs. However, the gems in the walls aren’t animated, and no gem pickups either…
9/10

Music: Free points for everyone.
10/10

Gameplay
Flow: A good flow. The pits were hard to detect, especially the first one, but after this first one it became easier (and if you fell in it, you will not fall in the pit again because you know how the level author marked pits after the first ‘incident’). I could easily jump with Lori from island to island and no character seems to have problems with the pits though Jazz/Lori might have an easier time because they can simply copter over those pits without worries.
Also, where are the secrets with ammo/gems? Not existing, according to JCS, which is a pity.
9/10

Pickup Placement:
A bit few, but the pickups existing were very well-placed. However, there was (almost) no difference between Easy and Medium which I consider a flaw – I used JCS to confirm this…
Also, very few gems… but gems should be placed in single player and ESPECIALLY if you use any kind of Diamondus tileset!
No secrets with any kind of pickups … it doesn’t help.
8/10

Enemy Placement:
A good combination between easy-to-kill and hard-to-kill enemies due to their placement. In combination with all the pits it was quite a challenge, and the boss fight is quite difficult because you’re fighting above a huge pit and if you did not notice the Full RNG, you’re screwed there.
There were a bit more enemies on Hard than on Medium, but the difference was minor and almost unnoticable.
8,5/10

Replay Value:
The overall difficulty made me replay it twice, but there were absolutely ZERO secrets to find, so replaying was nowhere near as fun as the first time playing. This level is more difficult than most other levels uploaded nowadays, which adds to the replay value, though.
7/10

50,5/60 / 6 = 8,4/10

Penalties: Zero

8,4/10

DR: Yes. It is a great level with very few flaws, though replay value is a bit low because of lack of secrets. However, if you aren’t experienced with playing, this level is very challenging, and might bring you on the verge of a game-over.

Go in JCS and load the level and there you can delete the enemies.

Hello there, I would like to try your episode, but for some reason I get this error when I try to play it:
“Jazz 2 ran out of internal animation structures. There are most probably too many enemies in the current level”
How can I fix it?

@Sean,

There is a powerup. You just have to look for it.

As for size, it’s supposed to be a 1-on-1 duel level, not a melee brawl. I already explained this, so what the heck

The eyecandy may be a little ‘overpowering’, but it’s not oppressive. I thought I did an adequately good job, to be perfectly honest.

I expected my level to get this type of review, I really did. But please be accurate in your review.
