<b>Most the bones are simply normal dead things, though a few demonic appearing bones give you a bad feeling about the island. One shell feels suspiciously heavy, but you are too weak and pathetic to open it, even using the pearldiver's knife.

Get the shell, magic map back to the party, give the shell to them to open while you're gone, and return to Antifoo Isle.

EDIT: Alternatively, try assembling some of the bones into a skeleton, take it to the party, and claim that they're the remains of a dangerous beast you killed all by yourself. See if they believe it.

Heck, just do both.

Page 20 was about the time of the classic Araches and L337z4n love triangle with pandora's car, which was a time of low morale regardless. But like you said at about that time the party didn't seem to be as interactive or 2-d as they are now. Ahh, good times.

Enchanting it in Scholar Sam's you had hoped for some mad uber-mage doll. But after "When the Saints come marching in", "Greensleeves", and "Carry Me Back to Old Virginia", it becomes clear that all it got was Scholar Sam's mad sing-along skills.

L33tz4n looks at you halfway through "Turkey in the Straw" and asks "are you regretting this?"

Judging from the other evil people in this asile, you'd say the cerial asile is a popular place for exorcisms and enchantments. Jim begins chanting. Dramatic lighting and wind effects. There's a bright flash of light, and then quiet. The doll gets up.
Fawriel looks at it. "Aww, I wanna name this one!" he says. Doll kicks Fawriel in the groin. "Worthless mortal!" it says, " you will refer to me as Zodiac the EVIL." The doll kicks Faw in the groin again and punches him in the face while he's bent over in pain.
