Very cool battle level. :-)
The spring placement was quite cool, however not perfect. (springs are more important in levels than people realise, and the springs were used nicely here) Overall worth your download, but I’m not a big battle fan. :-)
This gets a -2 difference from what I could’ve rated this because of unoriginal design. Download the level and see what this lev bares a slight resemblence to. I dare ya! :-P
Anyways, good job converting this level with such good improvation, Quist. I like some of the substitutes, but it coul have been much better. Overall a slightly above average lev. Your choice to download or not. :-)
Quite a nice little lev. The music is good. (doesn’t fit the level as good as other tunes would…) The length of this level was just right and overall it gets a good 7 from me.
I was pretty undecided about a rating for this, but before you download or check out, remember this: it’s awesome. :-)
The layout a superb, and the eye candy was used very well.
Overall this is a pretty average level. Nothing much to say. :-)
(Oh yes, a note to the author, NEVER put hurt events in a battle. They will only hurt the server)
Look at this rating, a 1. That’s right. The lowest possible score you can get. Why? This level is HORRIBLE, plain and simple. It’s a hotel (the scourge of JJ2), and has a poorly placed together layout, bad eye candy, etc.
Disgusting, really.
No layer 8 and bad navigation, design and pretty much everything.
Don’t waste bandwidth d/ling this, PLEASE.
I must say I don’t like this one too much. It’s like a hotel with places you can’t roast and it really doesn’t work very well for playing on the net. Sorry.
Good level. However it did have some problems, such as putting large amounts of a single piece of ammo in one spot. I’ve always wondered why people do that. Also, putting food in multiplayer levels. I never understood the point of that, besides SUGAR RUSHES. :-)
Overall this gets a 7 from me.
Very good tileset. The only downfalls are it would be sort of difficult to use and it has no example level.
Awesome tileset. I loved the background and the rest was quite original. The only problem is, as Mike said, it looks hard to use.
Very nice program, Aiko. Even though it has no use for me. :-)
This level looks VERY dull. It needs lots more eye candy. (Yes, eye candy is an aspect you have to do right) The layout wasn’t bad, and I like the small battle aspect though.
Very good level. I love that fact that it’s modeled to look just like JJ1 Diamondus.
A nice level overall. Though I could find some problems.
You shoudnl’t use the caterpillar in multiplayer levels. It’s just annoying. :-)
I found it hard to navigate as Jazz.
Overall it’s a cool level, but it slipped from a good 9. :-)
Awesome in terms of creativity. Even though this is kinda old, I still love it. Hats off to stripe.
Awesome CTF pack! One of the coolest I’ve seen. Etc. :) I loved the creative stuff, and the design and eye candy were top notch. Download right away! :)
Arrr, I was tempted to give this level a low rating because of it’s title. :-P
Good level, although it was hard to navigate sometimes, the music was cool though.
This level gets a high rating from me specifically for lotsa creativity. It’s a lot of fun to play (and lose in. :-P) online too. The only problem I can come up with is the fact that you can’t really host this level on a non-pwed server without telling everyone all of the rules. :-P
I must say, this level is significantly better than your other one. You used the tileset pretty well, however I do have some noticable problems…
As Mikey said, there are passages where you can see your character from around the passage. Fix this by simply putting layer 3 not only where all of the passage is, but also around the top, side, etc, so the level looks more profesional.
There is some tile cutting around the vines, though this is not a significant problem.
There are a few more problems, but I, stoopit iCeD, cannot think of them all.
