Quite platformy, these levels are. Not really solid. E-Prime can be a great example for that. Anyway, as this is a duel pack intentionally, its quite okay for these levels to be small. I might be a strict reviewer or maybe a kind one, I dont really care.. D=

Well, the eyecandy was typical from what you would expect from this certain overused tileset. A few nice things, but they arent so noticeable. BR’s level in tubelec could have been used for an eyecandy example.
The gameplay suits the duel, but its quite hard and annoying to get the bouncer pu. And I think that was the only one I could find. There are a few tactics, not much. And yet the tubes can be a nuisance.
The layout, well its really platformy. So flame me. Thx. Anyway the layout was okayish, but still not worthy of the Chinese gods. It seemed a bit biased. Jazz biases, Spaz biases and turrets which you can get stuck in, but only if you try hard.
The pickups were placed okayishly in this pack. Could have been better.

It is evident that I like this one the most. And that it has a few original concepts in the eyecandy. Good job for an underused tileset. Nice 1up placement for sparkling effect and waterfalls are good. Good Job.
The gameplay is good here too, as there are platforms to destroy, the level is probably better off without carrots and as instagib, as all of these are small. I say this would be a really neat instagib pack, but its okay for a small quick duel pack. It shouldnt take too long.
The layout was good except platformy again. Underwater platforms too. Should be pretty solid, but oh well. The top area has no point. If you want a good level, everything you place needs a reason and an attention grabber, such as a PU.
It is okay how the ammo is placed.

The level has not really any eyecandy, possibly because you used a bad tileset. Or one I really dislike. It deserves a bit of rating, but I dont like it so much. Keep that in mind. You also made some nice ways of excusing the limited tiles in this set.
The gameplay was averagish. But still a bit annoying as the RF PU isnt needed at all in this level. Its quite tight and small. If it were open and mad it should keep it but it isnt.
The layout was yet again platformy. It needs work, you need to avoid placing platforms, I used to think it made it easy, but these levels cant stick with it. =(
The ammo is adequate, but an RF PU isnt needed here as explained earlier.

The gameplay is okay but quite spazbiased. The level has slots that are quite hard to get into.
The layout is probably the least platformy, still platformy though. Needs a bit of work. It has adequate and sufficient PUs.

This probably excited me as much as BR’s level. LRK obviously tried making a successful level, and guess what? He did. Anyway, the level is a bit big, consisting of 5 PUs. 4 are different. There are 2 Blaster PUs. Can be a bit campy at middle and loads of ammo. A while ago, it used to just be loads of bouncers and RFs. Now a bit more fair. 3 carrots quite cramped together.

Well, not many exciting eyecandy effects but at least the places arent cramped with lack of eyecandy, or too much eyecandy. Anyway, the level is quite normal. All the shadows were dealt with. Loads of tubes and nice buildings, this level almost has the feel of a bit of a city.

It actually is fun to play in. Doesn’t suit duels at all, but anything else + is good. There is good flow, and adequate springs, some tubes are a bit hard to get into, but not if you have a brain. The powerups are moderatly easy to notice and get. There isnt much tactic at all in this level, apart from firing weapons at right times. A few RF chases are good. I cant say much.

Well, the layout is pretty solid, and pretty campy. The flagholder has like 2000 ways to never be hit muhahaha, but but but, if you are smart and familiar with the concept of the brain, you should be able to prevent it. Peppermints arent ever used enough, you can chase up slopes with it. Bouncers = Vice versa. Anyway, you can also fire seeks through the tubes or something, double attacking always helps! It’s pretty easy to navigate around here, and it has a city-like layout. Good enough for me.
Placement

Now that LRK editted it, enough toasters to attack with. Before there were one billion bouncers and RFs. And like 6 toasters? Not even at all. Anyway now that it is changed, a bit better. A lot of camping due to the where the PUs are and the ammo is, but I guess that is how LRK planned it. Anyway GJ

Team Foo Race 01.
Not much eyecandy effects can be done with this tileset but some stuff are impressive. I guess the eyecandy is okay, for such an overused, 2D set. ;( No offence. It’s still nice. I guess it can be stopped blabbing about or something now.
The flow is simple, a bit biased, but still the same around, not really any tactics but using ammo wisely and smartly. Anyway, if you are dumb, this should be near impossible.
The layout is okay, but races don’t have expected layouts, this is jus quite warpy. But if you really want extra points from me, there would have been a level where all players can meet (and attack eachother if they are dumb/smart enough), maybe even a split way for teams, like a player has a choice of 2 ways to go, despite the JAZZ/SPAZ stuff.
Ammo Placement was good. Nothing to say its race.
Team Foo Race 02.
The eyecandy is okay again, nothing to scream about like WOWOWOWOW! Nothing to scream in fear about. Some interesting unused things, not much but there you go.
The gameplay is quite simple in this one. You SHOULD know where to go. Its basically move down and do what I say. The I being the sign. ;)
The layout is a vertical tower where you descend upon your victory.
The ammo placement? Not much ammo, not much needed!
Team Foo Race 03.
Okay, a few eyecandy bugs here, and I dont really like the set at all, you used it okayish however. There are nice decorative areas.
The gameplay? Its nuts. Just don’t be tempted by the mad rooms, I have to admit, I ran for the bouncer PU a few times.. ;( Sorry spoy. Anyway nice tempting rooms for distractions, would be as hard as ever if you are dumb.
The layout being a big sort of loop that goes close to lines but dont join if you see what I mean.
The ammo is perfectly placed here.
Team Foo Race 04.
The 4th level, well okay eyecandy again, nothing to gasp about. Nothing to cry about. This probably being my favourite one has two things I particularily like. The jail at the end and the moonish lookish pillar.
The gameplay is simple, but may need a brain. Some people lack that factor. Anyway, a lot of repetition if you arent wise. Same sort of layout as 1st. And same sort of ammo placement.
Team Foo Race 05.
The eyecandy has a few bugs and some sexy MCEs. Not much I need to explain. There are loads of JJ2 tilesets morphed together and a lot of fun to play.
The gameplay is smooth for this one, but it can depend on teamplay and waiting behind for slower players
Or they might be doomed to be stuck.
Then the layout comes in, a bit loopy but not a circle sort of thing, you go to various places twice. Ammo = s3xy
Overall ~ How I rate the pack
The pack deserves a high rating, and I felt it should get an 8 from me, maybe a bit low, but im mean. ;( Anyway, I feel the pack is a lot of fun to play online and so you need to download it or be eaten by a fish called Jim!
This just about passes my scale of a great level. A few odd things but everything else picks up and cancels that out. I’m being kind to review some levels that some friends made. And this review is mainly coz you beat me. D;
Anyway, BlackRaptor obviously worked hard and tried to make such a good level. Nice new eyecandy stuffz and interesting level. Lets see how well he did …

I kind of have to down-rate you a tiny bit because the overused tileset, and a few places not looking so spiffy like the middle. I have to comment on the orange cheesy blocks; they look nice! A load of pinball bumpers and loads of circular blue block things, that looks nice like a pinball bumper with color sucked out, and turned blue of course. Okay, also there are radio blocks on the base areas, I think that was used in FS’s instagib. But again great job.

Okayz matez, somez upratingz. Anyway… The layout is nice and solid, solid and amazing that is. Dead ends? Maybe, but those dead ends were covered. ++Warps and such. Anyway, BR obviously thought about his level, planned it, pwned it and uhm made it? It has about 3 blocks im guessing? 1 for each base and the solid outline. Not so platformy at all. Nice and solidy. But the one thing that I need to complain about is that I dont like the bottom quite so much. It seems a tiny bit rushed, much like my levels I’m sure. =( Gj anyway.

Okay, new technology here. Suits the tileset eh? Anyway the level has new technology of transport and flow. Pinball bumpers as platforms, Pinball Paddles as springs, a bit of stuff like that. I dont believe in a terrible level, just a bad maker. Obviously that works vice-versa. But vice versa, it is a good level too. ;)
Anyway, the flow isn’t bad, the warps can be told apart and stuffz, so good stuff. Stuff. Stuff? Im banned from China for saying stuff like stuff. ;(
Next important part is the stuffz like camping and tactics. Camping isn’t so easy yet so hard either here, quite a few big camp-spots, which need a bit of changing.
Now, the level has a few tactics, maybe a few RF tricks to move around faster here and there and a few bouncer things, but the walls arent necessarily thick enough to produce everything. Quite a few bombarding tricks and shortcuts and uhh things that help you go faster. GL HF finding.
Placement

Okay, the ammo and power-up placement is very super uber sexy. However, the powerups has one little dib that is bad. Dab or dib, who cares? Anyway, I feel that it is too chaotic with 2 RF PUs, and they are quite close too. But I suppose it suits this level as you cant chase very well.

Another great pack or level by BR. Its a long, hard fun SP pack. You seem to be journeying through a forest at the start. And off we go.
Wise Owl Forest (Level one)
The swamps tileset was used here, and there was a GREAT effect of a forest. BlackRaptor obviously spent a long time on this. And its time well spent. A good level, where you can actually die. Its not TOO easy. Its fun, not linear, and there are many points to get. You can go so many ways. And there is so much variety in the level. I don’t necessarily love the top area. But its okay. I guess. The level is smooth, with baddies and half way marks at appropriate places.

Demon Forest (Level two)
The tileset really bought you down here man. The tileset isn’t very good at all. The music makes it sound like some haunted village. There aren’t much effects of EC. But the forest isnt so bad.

The level is okay here. Not something to scream YAY about, but its nice. The EC looks good. And the tileset isn’t the best, but its good.

Well, the movement is quite smooth. And this is really nice. It has far enough bases, and there are practically… 2 dead ends? .o0O0o. And yet they aren’t really big. There are a few pointless areas, like near the base, there is a tiny platform, with a spring on it. There is not really a need for it, but I suppose if you don’t want to get the enemy flag whilst getting ready. =\ Well, the huge pillar going through the bottom is good as it has tactic in it. ;D

The thing I disliked were the areas where the blue tiles looked as if they went into thin air, without edges. On the other hand, there was a nice original background. Well, good way of anti camp, and its easy to attack the base, that makes it more exciting and less camping. A symmetrical level, and the anti-camp at the carrot is interesting. You can rampage in with bouncers or RFs for a quick way to destroy the camper. The only reason in the upper branch of the level with the Seeker PU, is the Seeker PU. The ammo there is all over the level. The seeker PU is easy to camp. But the other PUs are hard to camp. Because if you come in with bouncers, the enemy is DEAD. ;D
The flow is decent and the springs and tubes and everything are nicely placed.

This level is very very platformy, but there is a really small exception. Who cares though, BlurredD’s E-prime kinda owns this, coz well mainly blur made it barely platformy. And… Really orignal. This level has barely any tactic, but when there was loads of thin platforms, bouncers and seekers can be shot through them. There are a few dead ends too, unhappily.

The eyecandy is really good, barely bugged, but nevertheless nothing original at all, the suckertubes looked nice. The background was excellent, but i do prefer stars and the planet, they look heavy, but so does this i guess. There is an excellent tileset chosen and used here.

The flow here is great,however: dead ends, annoying parts, not too much tactic, easy to camp. But happily, how to anticamp/destroy campers. This level has quite a few parts that are really pointless. This level is great for duels and TB and even just battle.

Ignore it when ppl say it sux, coz it is hard to grasp the essence of a good 1st level, my 1st ones sucked, but look how i turned up, im now making great levels. See “Ragnarok’s Stronghold”, it was a success, as so shall your future levels be. Ask yourself when you make levels, “Do i like it? Will others?” After that you get ppl to test it for you. Get people that are good to test and give you pointers. Hmmm, good luck. I’m not gonna say how much worse my 1st level was. PHT overrated it, when i was making it. But keep trying, and have fun. ;D
Hmm, the reviews made me think the level was shit, so i downloaded it. But it wasn’t as bad as the ratings. Hmm, well Cooba and Dx were underrating eachother’s levels for some reason. Which i don’t care of, but back to the level. Okay, the tileset used was overused, but who cares… Here we go:

Comments: The background was kinda original. I disliked the animations of this tileset. The warps (Spinning things) were too unoriginal, hmm but the red thing u go in in the blue base is cool, i like it. Moving on, There is no forground.

Danyjel, maybe it is a bit too overrated… Okay… I actually hate the original Dreempipes, and i would give the music about, errr 5.5, because it fits in and stuffz. Okay, here we have an upgraded version of the music, which is better. I wont say too much, im not too bothered to do a long review. But Here we go:

It is good, it has a nice beat, well so does the original, but yesh, its good. The other Dreepipes remix i have owns (Sarcasm) Well, its just about 5 times faster than the orignal Dreempipes, but this is different. Im not bothered to make a calculation.

There are few things that i noticed changed, like the notes (Or was it the instruments?) =P.
Overall:
I don’t like it too much, thats why i think Dany overrated, but get some other reviewers instead of me, I’m just bored so i review stuff, i jus reviewed a few other things (Or will)

Quite a few tactics i will share in this level. Heeheeheehee, ok:
- Shooting bouncers and electro blasters and camping the carrot at the same time.
- Getting the copter at the red base and goin through the suckertube that pushes you away from the seeker powerup.
- Getting the copter at the blue base or going from the “Full NRG” a going into the wall where there seems to be some sort of crystal and warping to the powerup.
- Getting the +1 carrot when someone else in camping the full one.
- Shooting fastfires at full speed and powered up and all full speed.
- Shooting weapons through the constantly used suckertubes.
- Shooting the carrot down and confusing people, like snooze, i did this to him in Distopia, and he thought the carrot wasn’t respawning, and then i did it here, trust me, it’s funny.
NOTE : I hope this comes out right.
