what cooba said.. sometimes cramped flow and such. average level, but far from really good.
i mostly agree with pj.. except i wouldnt call the eyecandy brilliant..(not meaning it stinks, it’s quiet good actually XD). the level overall has a solid gameplay. here and there some unusual kind of systems to get power ups,which i am not sure about if it’s necessary.. it feels quiet gimmicky.
furthermore this level sometimes attacks you with masked tube walls being in three different kind of layers. seeing them on layer 4, foreground layers AND background really makes it feel confusing to me. also the 1 tile holes for tubes can be annoying sometimes. the size is pretty big, but it didn’t feel really big for the size. so that’s a good point. it wasn’t really hard to learn either. the ammo placement is put nicely, but sometimes it feels like there is way too much of it. (even i know the level is designed for larger games.)
so anyway, to sum things up and keep it short. there is a lot of potentional here and you have a lot of talent. this levels shows that. average eyecandy with very decent gameplay. some minor flaws that doesn’t really bother me, makes me rate this level a 7.5(!) very good job and i hope to see more levels from you in the future.

gus sets look amazing, yet no-one uses them because they always lack of usability
the only thing these tilesets are good in are the graphics. with a bit more effort they could be less limited, please try to think of more crucial tiles.

was it worth uploading these, would you think anyone would bother playing these levels? they are just liniare, hardly any placement, full of tilebugs, and i hardly see anything back from your ‘story’. crappy level, no DR.
‘waterfall caves’ keeps giving me access violations and out of memory’s especially when hosting online and trying to sidekick. anyway, the name waterfall caves is already taken by blur.
well, if you are looking for the art up today. then you really need to download this. even if you find it looking a bit weird , the colourfulness and sphere will overtake you probably, download your ‘piratecursed-violin-monalisa-jj2’ level here.
i am agreeing with pj. the gameplay was decent but eyecandy has slightly bugs and is too random. i think 9.2 is overrating. new edit it slightly better but ec is still not that great in my opinion ^^.
Good lvl, just think it’s not really special apart from that it is a good flow playing around battle level. its originality doesnt stand out from the rest.Napo said it would be the best lvl, but personally i like something that is more special,something like condemned or enter the chaos have more creative idea’s.but don’t be sad,7 is a good mark
before misunderstanding. is the tileset yours too? and are we meant to rate both or just the level or just the tileset?
was just wondering.. as i know dodges likes making tilesets.. and i saw dodges in the set itself.. so i was curious even when there was standing battle anyway.. but thanks
you should stop uploading 15 minute made levels for each. i understand not everything is part of a pack.. but seriously.. now the whole download list fades away by one author posting tons of horizontal walking levels :P
well i rate them quite high normally.. but i just couldn’t feel the atmosphere here.. it was probably because the lack of instruments and usage imo. you could add echo using the volume(slides) system. I really missed that. also, somehow the mid somewhere it was like tone-deaf. but i wasn’t sure. still very gud song. sorry for the short review :(.
the quality is very good. good idea’s but there isn’t any good varation in usability. i can’t think of making my level original from others using this set.
actually.. if you ask me if it’s necessary then i say yes of course. i like feedback. and i want to know if it made differences. i mean.. did it annoy you the first moment, is it fixed. could it still be better. etc.
so necessary? i wouldn’t call it like that. but i would really appreciate if you do.
they are okay.. but i haven’t got a clue where to use them for :P. i just think it’s a bit useless. and converting isn’t really something where skills are needed.
yea it’s fun.. and like to see ones. but not really something that has some real effort (for a 9.9) except the idea’s some things could work out even better. it becomes rather useless after you played it once. it’s more like a film then gaming itself. but still, the idea’s are awesome.
this could be improved more.. i still see dead ends and irritating parts in the lay out. and with the coin system it gets way difficult.
nice tileset but imo the contrast on the industrial tiles are way too much. and it’s a huge part off the set. it’s not that there are a lot options in layers.
you should make some extended version off this program. that actually opens and be able to select a couple of levels at once. the copy /paste takes a bit long and i can hardly open my jj2 folder with all those files in it.. could be good to have a program doing on the deskopt.
